Witness Statements Available

In Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) proceedings, a witness statement is a written statement of evidence provided by a witness, intended to be presented at the hearing, and it outlines the witness’s background, experience, issues they will address, and relied-upon materials.

The witness statements for the OLT hearing for 22 Weber St W are now available.

The following Witness Statements reflect the positions of the Expert Witnesses (who are engaged by the Parties) on the Issues and on the Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw Amendment applications.  The majority of the hearing will be devoted to examining the Expert Witnesses.

In addition to the expert witness statements, the tribunal will also consider the written statements of participants. Although these statements do not carry the same weight as those of the expert witnesses, they can have an impact. Note that these statements are the independent opinions of citizens and citizen groups, and don’t represent the opinions of any specific party.
