On February 5, 2026, the Chair of the Ontario Land Tribunal concluded that the Friends of Olde Berlin Town (FOBT) Request for Review “fails to establish a convincing and compelling case sufficient to warrant the exercise of my review powers”.  You can read the Chair’s decision here.
 
The Tribunal’s September 2025 Decision to approve both the developer’s Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment applications stands.

We are reviewing the Chair’s decision and considering possible next steps.
