As we shared recently, on October 15, 2025, FOBT submitted a Request for Review of the decision from the OLT hearing on Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment applications for 22 Weber St W.

In its response of October 29th, the Tribunal directed the City of Kitchener and the Applicant-Appellant (ownership of 22 Weber St W) to file a response to the Request.

The Tribunal further ordered that the Regional Municipality of Waterloo may file a response to the Request and that FOBT may then file a reply.

The Responses and Reply have now been submitted by the City, the Applicant and FOBT.

A decision from the Tribunal is expected in approximately one month.
